South Iceland

Gale or severe gale with mean wind 15-25 m/s, strongest near Eyjafjöll where gusts can reach up to 35 m/s.
Showers of snow are expected, but by the south coast there is a precipitation area that could cause moderate snowfall and bad visibility on land. Driving conditions could deteriorate and roads become impassable, especially between Hvolsvöllur and Vík as well as road over Hellisheiði. People are advised to show caution and monitor weather forecasts.

Southeast Iceland

Showers of snow are expected, especially in the west part of the area, but by the south coast there is a precipitation area that could cause moderate snowfall and bad visibility on land. Driving conditions could deteriorate and roads become impassable, especially on Myrdalssandur and near Oræfajokull glacier. People are advised to show caution and monitor weather forecasts.
